Liability Waiver

Thank you for your interest in Ethical Yarn Community and its resources! We are very happy that you are making art, and we want to do whatever we can to facilitate you doing that in a way that is both fun and safe. 

We will do what we can to educate you on the proper use of the equipment, but there are some accidents we simply cannot plan for. As you are at the mill or using mill equipment of your own free will, we ask that you also take responsibility for any accidents that occur to your person. 

General guidelines for interacting around mill equipment include the following:

• Do not wear any loose-fitting clothing that could get pulled into the machines.

• Do not wear long hair down while using mill equipment.

• Do not extend fingers or other body parts beyond the marked areas of the machine.

By signing the agreement below, you certify that you hereby assume all the physical risks of participating in any/all activities conducted by Ethical Yarn Community, its members, and its volunteers, including, by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them. 

This release of liability form shall provide a release and waiver to all extents permissible under applicable law.
