With sustainable and ethical practices, we care for your fiber at every stage of the process
Fiber Processing in the Pacific Northwest
Our mill specializes in next-to-skin soft sheep’s wool, alpaca, and angora rabbit wool. We process other types of fiber, including pet fur (undercoats only) on a case-by-case basis. We have a water reclamation system that waters the plants on our property, power our existing equipment with pedal (bike) power as well as wind power, and use biodegradable soaps.
Rush options available upon request.
We are currently in the process of getting our industrial sample card (a refurbished 1920s beauty) up and running. We are planning to take orders for processing in 2024. Stay tuned!

Frequently Asked Questions
Prices?
Custom processes with little-to-no impact to the environment currently come at premium costs, but as we grow and scale with your help, we use profits to lower our processing fees, pay our employees more, and purchase more efficient equipment.
Dyeing?
We do natural, plant-based dyeing on white and gray wool by request. Natural dyeing is unpredictable, so it is difficult to get exact colors, and there is always some risk involved. If you’re interested in letting us experiment, mention that in the contact form.
Pet Fur?
If you want yarn or roving made from pet fur, we charge more because we need to blend your pet’s fiber with wool to add strength and luster. It also means we will need to more thoroughly clean our machines between batches. Contact us for more info.
Art Yarns?
We do art yarns by request. We have glitter, angora, and naturally dyed merino to add to your batches. Please mention that you are interested in art yarn and specify what type of art yarn you are looking for. We can make batts and roving as well.
